Disabling CUPS banner pages in RHEL

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • How to disable #CUPS-BANNER permanently when printing via cups.
  • I already have "JobSheets none none" for my printer; however, it still printing the cover page for each print job, is there any way to stop printing the cover page?
  • After upgrading from RHEL 4 to RHEL 7, the following is printed at the beginning of each print job:

    #PDF-BANNER
    Template default.pdf
    Show printer-name printer-info printer-location printer-make-and-model printer-driver-name

How do I stop this? The CUPS system is accepting print jobs from a remote client via LPD (Line Printer Daemon) protocol.
