How to test a post kernel update reboot in an unattended or resilient manner?
Issue
- We experience kernel boot failures following updates periodically that require administrator intervention. How can we avoid having to involve administrators in the event that a kernel update goes badly?
- How to attempt to boot into a new kernel, but use a functioning kernel if it fails?

- grub2
