How to turn off host name verification for a web service client in JBoss EAP?

Issue

  • The web service client is a standard HTTPS client invoking a JAX-WS web service.
  • Tried adding JVM argument -Dorg.jboss.security.ignoreHttpsHost=true, however, it did not help in disabling host name verification for a cert.
  • How can we turn off host name verification for the web service client?
