Build fails with http 500 Internal server error when pushing to registry

Issue

• During a build (oc start-build ...), the following error occurs when pushing the image to the registry:

  error: build error: Failed to push image: received unexpected HTTP status: 500 Internal Server Error
  

  As such, we are unable to build new images.
