Is Apache HTTPD 2.2.3 supported with mod-cluster?

Issue

  • We are using Apache HTTPD 2.2.3 on RHEL 5 with mod-cluster 1.2.3.Final to integrate with JBoss EAP 6.0.1, causes the following exception while starting the Apache HTTPD server
httpd: Syntax error on line 148 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 3 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/modcluster.conf: Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_proxy_cluster.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_proxy_cluster.so: undefined symbol: ap_get_server_banner
  • Is the below version of apache supported in mod_cluster?:
[bin]> /usr/sbin/httpd -v
Server version: Apache/2.2.3
Server built:   Nov  6 2012 10:39:29
