HTTPS redirected to HTTP in mod_cluster between HTTPD and EAP with ProxyPreserveHost On

Issue

After login, HTTPS is not being maintained. It's not possible to log into the application since only HTTPS is enabled on HTTPD. ProxyPreserveHost is set to On.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Core Services (JBCS)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 7.0.7 or later
  • Apache Web Server (HTTPD)
    • 2.4.x
  • mod_cluster
