Issue

  • Help is needed with troubleshooting an issue which is resulting in network reset

  • There is sporadic network reset during communication with the WebLogic application and help is needed with either finding the cause or ruling out the OS as a cause.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Weblogic application
  • z/OS server
  • F5 loadbalancers routing traffic between Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 server and zOS server.
  • Traffic map:
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux host   <--->   F5 load balancer  <--->  z/OS server on System-Z
