Why am I unable to access my GFS filesytem on one node in my two node cluster when using iLO fencing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5?
Issue
- When you try to mount the GFS filesystem manually, it says it is corrupted.
- When you ran gfs_tool sb <device> all, it gave you an error that it isn't a gfs filesystem.
- The filesystem is mounted fine on the first node, and it is the same device presented to both nodes.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Cluster Suite
- Configured in a 2 node configuration without quorum disk.
- Fencing type is fence_ilo.
- Cluster nodes have a private interconnect that they communicate through, and external interfaces that application traffic travels over.
