  • Yum commands are failing with Error [Error performing checksum] Trying other mirror:

Resolution

  • Set the proper release version from the Satellite Web UI or CLI:
Satellite Web UI -> Hosts -> Content Hosts -> Select the host -> Details -> Content Host Content -> Set the desired relase version.
  • To determine which release versions are available:
# subscription-manager release --list
  • To set the release version using the CLI, use the following command:
# subscription-manager release --set=<RELEASE-VERSION>
# yum clean all
