Issue

  • When registering a system using rhnreg_ks against Red Hat Network Satellite the command fails with Internal Server Error.
rhnreg_ks --username USERNAME --password PASSWORD
An error has occurred:
Internal Server Error

  • Red Hat Linux Satellite version 5.x
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 4 and higher on client side.
