"Cannot retrieve repository metadata" error on Satellite client system
Issue
- system registered to satellite isn't working

error when running yum command, like the following:
# yum check-update Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rhel-i386-server-5. Please verify its path and try again
Environment
- Red Hat Network Satellite
- New installation or upgrade of Satellite, or channel has recently been modified
