TCP: When are zero window probes sent via the persist timer?
Issue
- We are experiencing some tcp issue where the host's persist timer would stay active (from the ss output) even though there was no TCP zero window sent to this host. This host would enter into persist mode for reason we don't understand, and it would stop sending data for almost 2 seconds. It didn't send a probe.
