RHV: Gluster SD's fails when being mounted as NFS on hypervisor hosts.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Gluster volumes fail to be mounted as NFS filesystem on client node.

  • Mount works fine when mounted as glusterfs .

# mount -t glusterfs 192.168.xxx.xx:/RHS_RHEVM40 /mnt/RHS_RHEVM40/
# echo $?
0
  • Mount errors received on gluster nodes
# tail /var/log/messages
Mar 23 12:27:09 redhat-gluster-node1 rpc.mountd[51075]: refused mount request from 192.168.xxx.xx for /RHS_RHEVM40 (/RHS_RHEVM40): unmatched host

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.x
  • Red Hat Virtualization Hypervisor 7.x
  • Glusterfs - glusterfs-3.8.4-52.el6rhs.x86_64
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.x used as gluser nodes.
