Concurrent registration to Satellite or Capsule fails with - Response: 502 or - too few arguments HTTP error code 500: Internal Server Error

Issue

  • Concurrent registration of a large number of hosts fails with error code - Response: 502

  • Bulk registration fails with below error:

    [ERROR] subscription-manager:9816:MainThread @managercli.py:175 - Server error attempting a POST to /rhsm/consumers?owner=XXXXXXX &activation_keys=XXXXX returned status 502

  • On a host registered to the Satellite server, subscription-manager commands fails with below error intermittently.

    [root@host ~]# subscription-manager identity
too few arguments (HTTP error code 500: Internal Server Error)
