Updating VMware Compute Resource password through Red Hat Satellite WebUI throwing "incorrect username or password" error.

Upon clicking
test connectionundercompute resources, gettingincorrect username or passworderror. -
Issue appeared while going through below steps :
Infrastructure > Compute Resources > Select VMware > Edit > Update "Password" > Load datacenters #Connection successful and populated list of datacenters.
Click "Test Connection"fails with 'incorrect username or password' error.
