  • rsync without --verbose option still writes (new) backup_dir is ... to standard output (STDOUT) as of version 3.1.2 in RHEL 7.

    (new) backup_dir is <DIRECTORY>

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7
  • rsync-3.1.2-4.el7
