Unable to restart/reload firewalld on system with Intel Omnipath or Mellanox Infiniband driver
Issue
- Restarting firewalld hangs. Once hung, the only way to bring firewalld back is to reboot the system.
rmmod nf_conntrackcauses 100% CPU usagedmesgshows messages similar to the following:
[889005.667785] nf_nat: Unknown symbol nf_ct_invert_tuplepr (err -2)
[889005.667803] nf_nat: Unknown symbol nf_ct_seqadj_set (err -2)
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- Infiniband hardware (either Mellanox or IBM's Omnipath)
