If rsyslogd's configuration is invalid, VDSM will not start and the RHEV host cannot be activated.

Issue

After creating RHEL 6.4 hosts, they can't be turned into RHEV servers.

After an upgrade to RHEL 6.4, the registration and activation of that system as a RHEV host fails.

The /var/log/messages file contains the following repetitive sequence;
