Environment

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 5.5
• Device-mapper-multipath, specifically version 0.4.7-34.el5_5.1

Issue

• Multipath sporadically reports path is down even though all paths are active and ready.
• Multipath gives the error,  'rdac checker reports path is down'.
• Also occurs with the readsector0 path checker.

Resolution

• Fixed in device-mapper-multipath-0.4.7-35.el5_5.4 or later
