Are there any rules governing custom udev rules in SPEC files?
Issue
- Users are interested in whether or not there are any rules against placing custom udev rules in the SPEC files of certain rpms.
- For example, a specific storage subsystem requires special udev rules in order for the Host Channel Adapters to function properly.
- In this case, is it permissible to add special udev rules to the package's SPEC file to override the default udev settings in the distribution?
