Error End of TNS data channel when connecting to Oracle from JBoss

Issue

  • While connecting to JPP-6 via datasource getting the below error stack
 java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: End of TNS data channel

       at oracle.jdbc.driver.OraclePreparedStatementWrapper.executeQuery(OraclePreparedStatementWrapper.java:1493)
       at org.jboss.jca.adapters.jdbc.CachedPreparedStatement.executeQuery(CachedPreparedStatement.java:107)
       at org.jboss.jca.adapters.jdbc.WrappedPreparedStatement.executeQuery(WrappedPreparedStatement.java:462)
