hfi1 kernel module fails to load properly from the initramfs due to missing firmware
Issue
If the hfi1 module is present in the initramfs without firmware being included, it gets loaded in a non-working state from the initramfs during the early boot and remains non-functioning until it is re-loaded manually when the real root is mounted and the firmware files become available.
