Unable to restore RHEVM from the backup

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Unable to restore upgraded RHEV 3.0 to 3.1 environment from the backup on the fresh installed RHEVM 3.1.

  • Instead of login page there is "HTTP Status 500" and stack trace like:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: JBAS011048: Failed to construct component instance
    org.jboss.as.ee.component.BasicComponent.constructComponentInstance(BasicComponent.java:163)
    org.jboss.as.ee.component.BasicComponent.createInstance(BasicComponent.java:85)
    org.jboss.as.ejb3.component.singleton.SingletonComponent.getComponentInstance(SingletonComponent.java:118)

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.1 (upgraded from 3.0)
