certutil - Error "SEC_ERROR_IO: An I/O error occurred during security authorization."
Issue
When trying to generate a TLS certificate request, the certutil command fails with the following error:
# certutil -d /etc/dirsrv/slapd-<INSTANCE_NAME>/ -R -o /root/<INSTANCE_NAME>.csr \
-s "CN=server.example.com,O=example_organization,OU=IT,ST=North Carolina,C=US"
certutil: unable to generate key(s)
