Issue

  • When booting RHEL7.5 and specifying a reduced CPU count with the nr_cpus boot
    parameter, an instance of this message will be output for each unused logical
    CPU:
bdx_uncore: probe of 0000:3f:0b.1 failed with error -22
  • Note: The PCI address will vary for each instance of the message.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL) 7.5
