Login shell preference in GNOME Terminal not honored when opening from Nautilus context menu

Issue

  • Opening a terminal in Nautilus using the right-click context menu does not open a login shell.
    • This happens even when Run command as a login shell is set in the terminal's profile preferences.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions between 6.3 and 7.3
  • nautilus-open-terminal version 0.17-4 or higher
