Using tc to mirror outbound traffic from a given physical interface to a tunnel interface which traverses the original physical interface causes a deadlock and soft lockup warnings
Issue
- Using
tcto mirror outbound traffic can cause a deadlock (soft lockup) if the traffic is mirrored onto a GRE tunnel whose traffic is routed over the same underlying interface as the original traffic. - Can presumably affect other types of tunnels.
