cgconfig.service fails to due to cgconfigparser failing to parse entry with value greater than 100 characters

Issue

  • The cgconfig.service failing with Invalid argument despite the >100 character length value being valid.

    # systemctl start cgconfig.service
    Job for cgconfig.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status cgconfig.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
    
    # journalctl -u cgconfig.service | grep cgconfigparser
    cgconfigparser[84167]: /usr/sbin/cgconfigparser; error loading /etc/cgconfig.d/bz1549175.conf: Failed to remove a non-empty group
    cgconfigparser[84167]: Error: failed to set /sys/fs/cgroup/cpuset/bz1549175/cpuset.cpus: Invalid argument
