Kernel BUG at fs/buffer.c:2093 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8
Issue
- In a 2 node cluster one node failed.
- Kernel BUG at fs/buffer.c:2093 and node rebooted.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 (RHEL5.8)
- Issue observed on kernel-2.6.18-308.11.1.el5. It is possible that other versions may be affected.
- Dell PowerEdge R815.
- Running BIOS version 3.0.4.
- EMC Powerpath multipathing software.
- Version EMCpower.LINUX-5.5.0.00.00-275.x86_64
- Issue occurs when load is added to the server
