Installation of RHEV Guest Tools in Windows guest fails
Issue
- In this specific case, the RHEV Guest Tools package was un-installed. When re-installed, it failed with;
Installation of RHEV-Tools on the Guest should be performed only
when running on RHEL 6 type host (RHEV-H or RHEL). Installation
aborted.
Environment
- Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) 4.1
- rhev-guest-tools-iso-4.1-7
- Windows 2016
