Is there a playbook to update authentication provider in openshift

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Please advise of playbook to utilize when wanting to update just the authentication provider e.g: from Github to Ldap/AD.
  • Although the /etc/origin/master/master-config.yaml can be updated manually, keeping the ansible host file with the updated authentication entries is important in case any playbooks needs to be re-executed.
  • Also noticed the /usr/share/ansible/openshift-ansible/playbooks/byo/config.yml can be used but it always seems to want to re-create certificates.
  • Is there a way to disable cert updates when running the above playbook or better still, if there is a playbook that just updates the authentication portion.

Environment

  • OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
    • 3.7
