Issue

Datasource errors generated when running web application under JBoss EAP 6.4.
In some cases a properly configured data-sources will test and work fine most of the time but fail after a period of use. This can render applications deployed to EAP to loose all Database connectivity. This can be a sign that during a period of time database connections are rendered invalid and unusable in the connection pool and are not properly detected.
Only Bouncing the controllers resolves the issue.

Some of the general errors that are sometime noted when these happens are:

*Caused by: javax.resource.ResourceException: IJ000453: Unable to get managed connection for java:/jdbc/DS*

*Caused by: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: Closed Connection*
