Issue

  • If we boot the server in new kernel-3.10.0-693.11.6.el7.x86_64 system stuck at dracut shell with error can't find disk UUID aaxxx1-1xxx-4xxx-axxx-5xxxxaxxxaa0

  • System with md software raid device fails to boot with error Warning: /dev/disk/by-uuid.. does not exist

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4
