ReaR cannot restore backups created with TSM client v8.1.2 or greater
Issue
- When backuping a system using ReaR and backup method TSM v8.1.0 or greater, restoration fails because ReaR cannot decrypt the backup
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL6)

- TSM client v8.1.2 or greater
- rear 1.17 (RHEL6)
