No links generated in /dev/disk/by_path for Intel SSD (NVMe)

Issue

  • One would expect that udev.d subsystem would create symbolic links in /dev/disk/by-path, when new nvme devices/partitions appear in /dev directory just like for regular SAS drives (e.g. /dev/sda1 has proper link in /dev/disk/by-path/)

What we observe is that the nvme driver does not provide some kind of ID for udev.
