Issue

Assigned a LUN to one of my Windows 2008 R2 guests.
Either Hyper-V or VMWare assignment of a LUN means that attaching a direct volume from SAN, and if need to increase the size of the LUN on the SAN that will be reflected right away on my Windows guest and with diskpart.
How Windows guest detects that new size of the LUN ?
