Can the JON system be configured to use server driven report collection from agents?

Issue

  • agent is not allowed to initiate connections to server
  • security team will not allow JBoss ON to initiate agent->server calls
  • can we have the JON server initiate calls to the agents to gather metrics?

Environment

  • JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.1
  • security guidelines do not allow agent initiated connections
