mount command fails in kdump when specified device name such as /dev/sda3 in kdump.conf
Issue
- When you specify device name (e.g. ext3 /dev/sda3) in kdump.conf, the device might not be found and mount command fails in kdump(2nd kernel) and finally kdump fails to capture vmcore.
- It occurs when the device name in the 2nd kernel is different from that in the 1st kernel.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
