Why Does the Time of my Scheduled Job Change in Ansible Tower?

Issue

When creating a new job schedule, if you set the job to occur once a month on a specific day, a time zone conversion occurs changing the day to the previous one.

For example, setting the job to occur on Saturday at 9 PM EST will convert to 2 AM UTC. Tower will then schedule the job out to occur every Saturday at 2 AM UTC, which ends up being Friday at 9 PM EST.
