BigDecimal values are not always evaluated correctly in comparisons

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • There has been occasions where comparisons of BigDecimal values in rules have not evaluated correctly. For example a rule will compare 24.30 < 0.5 * 48.60 and return true, whereas in fact it should return false, as 24.30 = 0.5 * 48.60.

Environment

  • Java
