Entries in /etc/inittab are not getting executed
Issue
- Entries in /etc/inittab are not getting executed.
- System is not presenting login prompt (both GUI and text mode), output stops at the following message:
Enabling /etc/fstab swaps
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- kernel 2.6.18-128
