Configuring mysql environment variables for wildfly on Openshift Online v3

Issue

• I have a WildFly pod and a mysql pod running in Openshift V3 and would like to use environment variables in my standalone.xml.
• The variables are not recognised.
• Specifying the direct values, instead of variables, works
