RHEL7.4: NFS 4.1 client has mounts configured in fstab but sometimes some of these mounts hang and we see "nfs4_discover_server_trunking unhandled error -512. Exiting with error EIO"
Issue
We have nfs mounts configured in fstab but they don't work sometimes (totally random). When it fails After boot is finished, I can see in the log: kernel: NFS: nfs4_discover_server_trunking unhandled error -512. Exiting with error EIO
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4 (NFS client)
- nfs-utils-1.3.0-0.48.el7_4
- NFS4.1
