Issue

  • Getting the following errors in the browser attempting to access application running under JBoss:

    SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.
(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

  • The URL is changed from http://host_name/URI to https://host_name:80/URI

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.0.1 GA

  • Apache Web server

  • mod_jk 1.2.30
