Datasources deployed in EAP 5 show an unavailable or unknown state from ProfileService

Issue

  • Some of our application's datasources are consistently marked as unavailable
  • DataSource returns a current run state of UKNOWN resulting in a DOWN status
  • Wrong state for DataSources in JON
  • DefaultDS in JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) reports being down
  • The DefaultDS always indicates it is down
  • DataSource appear to be DOWN when viewed in the admin-console
