Datasources deployed in EAP 5 show an unavailable or unknown state from ProfileService

Issue

Some of our application's datasources are consistently marked as unavailable
DataSource returns a current run state of UKNOWN resulting in a DOWN status
Wrong state for DataSources in JON
DefaultDS in JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) reports being down
The DefaultDS always indicates it is down
DataSource appear to be DOWN when viewed in the admin-console
