Seeing error in logs for ActiveRecord ValueTooLong and PG StringDataRightTruncation value too long for type character varying(255)
Issue
- After upgrading from CloudForms 3.2 (CFME 4.0) to CloudForms 4.5 (CFME 5.8), started seeing multiple errors in the logs:
<AutomationEngine> MiqAeServiceModelBase.ar_method raised: <ActiveRecord::ValueTooLong>: <PG::StringDataRightTruncation: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(255)
