Why Admin Console doesn't persist configuration changes?

Issue

  • If I make the configuration change from the admin console, e.g. change the connection pool sizes for "DefaultDS" data source, the changes are not written into the "hsqldb-ds.xml" file.
    *But if we do the same thing from JON, the changes are actually updated in the XML file. Is this a bug or is it intended?

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.0.0, 5.0.1
