Number of critical processes on OpenStack Controller

Issue

  • Need to know the number of activated processes to monitor the controller node

  • Does Red Hat provides such document ?

  • Considering the following as the monitoring target.

    • Cinder: cinder-api, cinder-scheduler, cinder-backup
    • Glance: glance-registry, glance-api
    • Keystone: keystone-admin, keystone-main
    • Neutron: neutron-dhcp-agent, neutron-l3-agent, neutron-metadata-agent, neutron-server
    • Nova: nova-api, nova-conductor, nova-scheduler, nova-novncproxy
    • corosync/haproxy: corosync, haproxy, haproxy-systemd-wrapper
    • memcached: memcached
    • MySQL/(MariaDB): mysqld
    • Pacemaker: pacemakerd, attrd, cib, crmd, lrmd, pengine, stonithd, pcsd
    • RabbitMQ: rabbitmq-server
    • Redis: redis-server
