Virtual machine give error "Exit message Unexpected Create Error" while starting

Issue

  • Starting a Virtual machine while VNC being selected as a display option fails with  the below error messages.

    "Exit message Unexpected Create Error"

  • Below error message is shown in the vdsm.log

    Thread-57828::DEBUG::2010-08-30 14:16:30,531::vm::1372::vds.vmlog.1ecbe8bc-49b8-41bb-954b-927394980316::qemu stdouterr: Could not read keymap file: '/usr/share/kvm/keymaps/de-de'
