"ORA-02049: timeout: distributed transaction waiting for lock" was thrown from JBoss-EAP server

Issue

  • We had an issue in our production system and we started seeing this error. We didnt see any locks in sys.dba_pending_transactions ; sys.pending_trans;sys.dba_2pc_pending tables in our Oracle DB.

  • Can you please tell me what is needed to be done to resolve this WARN message ?
